We've found that creating icons can be a challenge for some of our subscribers, so we simplified it. We've added the over and always growing 15,000+ icons from the guys at Icons8 and provided a simple-to-use library. Below are some step-by-step references, but once you login you'll see just how easy and flexible it is.
"Clicking" on the blue Select Icons from Icons8 Library will bring up the icons toolset. You'll find it in the upper right hard corner of both the Category Details editor as well as the Category Items editor.
Once the Icons toolset window pops up you'll have access to a scrolling category list on the left side and a keyword search box in the upper right hand corner. You'll notice some of the icons in the example are blue, based on the 'Foreground Color' setting and others are multi-colored. Using the 'Foreground Color' and 'Background Color' setting you have infinite flexibility in setting colors for your app icons. The multi-colored icons gives you a pre-set color.
After you click on the icon you'd like to use, the Icon Toolset will close and you'll see it appear in the Category or Item Image window. If you're editing 'Active' content, then all you need to do is SAVE your work and the icon is immediately visible to your app users.
